Nursing Home Sveta Margareta

The Sveta Margareta Nursing Home was founded in 2003. With an additional branch established in 2017, we can care for 54 residents in the nursing home. Our well-coordinated team of 17 employees is dedicated to your care. The Sveta Margareta Nursing Home is located in two locations in Vrbovečka Dubrava. Our professional, friendly staff is available 24 hours a day to provide care for you.

Meals at the Sveta Margareta Nursing Home

All meals are freshly prepared in our own kitchen with ECO ingredients grown on our family-owned organic farm and are adapted to the needs and diagnoses of our residents. Residents receive three hot meals and two snacks daily.

Medical and Other Care

Necessary medical care for our residents is provided around the clock by a family doctor, physiotherapist, and masseur. Regular monitoring includes blood pressure, blood sugar levels, body temperature, and medication intake. In addition to daily care like bathing, hair washing, shaving, and changing of diapers, a pedicurist and hairdresser regularly visit our home to ensure our residents look and feel well-groomed.

Nature Outings and Activities

Our residents can enjoy fishing or walking by nearby Lake Fuka, and on rainy days, they can create handmade crafts and participate in other activities we organize as part of occupational therapy. In our nursing home, you can spend time with supervised exercise led by a physiotherapist or enjoy common areas in the company of others playing board games.
