Near Vrbovec, 40 km from Zagreb, is Stari Glog, an idyllic place surrounded by beautiful forests, meadows, and a small lake. In this setting is the newly built nursing home GENOVEVA for the elderly and disabled. In our nursing home, we strive to provide our residents with the highest quality of care and service. Our nursing home Genoveva is one of the few homes specifically built for elderly care, meaning the entire facility is adapted to meet the residents’ needs.

Genoveva Nursing Home Staff

In addition to the home’s staff, our team includes a social worker who is present daily, communicating with our residents. An occupational therapist creates activities to offer an active, productive, and interesting stay. These activities are creative or cognitive, and our residents are thrilled with them. We also have a physical therapist who carries out rehabilitation procedures with the residents. The physical therapist conducts gentle exercises as part of physical activities attended by all nursing home residents. Through daily efforts, we aim to show that age is just a number. The wrinkles on our faces signify an active and productive life, and a nursing home can be a different place where the resident comes first.

Health Care

For residents who are less mobile, immobile, incontinent, or have specific needs for maintaining personal hygiene and meeting individual needs, we provide additional care, assistance with dressing, feeding, toileting, and personal hygiene.
