Located in the suburban area of Odra in Zagreb, it is built and equipped to I-category quality standards, accommodating around one hundred residents. The modernly furnished spaces offer high-quality living conditions. The total area of the building is 5,300 m². It includes single and double rooms for residents, a reception, chapel, hall, multipurpose rooms, dining room, economic and office areas, and more.

In a green oasis of monastic peace lies the House of St. Francis Nursing Home for the elderly and disabled. The home is located in the suburban area of Odra, Zagreb.

The site of today's House of St. Francis for the elderly and disabled was built as a seminary in 1968 within the Franciscan Province. It housed a seminary high school, but it closed in 1973 due to a lack of students. Seminary students remained in Odra until 1980, attending high school in Šalata. After 1980, the seminary was used to house theology students studying in Zagreb. Later, it hosted children, youth, church movement members, pilgrims, and others. The house often hosted meetings, courses, and seminars for religious figures, educators, catechists, and others. During the Croatian War of Independence, the monastery provided shelter to displaced persons and refugees from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the end of 1991, the monastery was seriously damaged by a rocket explosion nearby. After the war, plans were made to repurpose the location and existing monastery. By decision of the provincial chapter in 2001, the Province decided to build a home for the elderly and disabled, creating a project that combined State and Church institutions for social care. Construction began in 2002, and the home was fully completed in 2003.
